5. Useful advice for travellers
- 船揺れ対策 — 船酔いが心配な方は、乗船前に酔い止め薬を飲んでおくと安心です。
- 現金 — 場所によってはクレジットカードが使えないこともあります。ある程度の日本円の現金をご用意ください。
- 天候と運航状況 — 台風や高波で欠航になることがあります。出発前に座間味村公式サイトで運航情報をご確認ください。※当日の運行情報は朝8時に発表されます。
- Seasickness — Take motion-sickness medicine before boarding if you are prone to it.
- Cash — Some shops and services may not accept cards. Carry sufficient Japanese yen.
- Weather & sailings — Crossings may be cancelled in typhoons or rough seas. Check the official village site before departure. Same-day status is usually posted by 8:00 a.m.
